About Me
I am Esteban Escalera, a student at The University of Texas at Austin within the McCombs School of Business. As an accounting major and aspiring CPA, I aim to merge my financial expertise with my passion for the entertainment industry. My identity is deeply rooted in my Mexican heritage; I am a fluent Spanish speaker who finds great joy in exploring cultural cuisines and listening to a wide range of music from Daniel Caesar and Frank Ocean to vibrant Spanish tracks. On any given day, you will find me analyzing song lyrics to uncover their deeper meanings while driving, working out, or preparing for the day ahead.
When I’m not in the classroom, I am a diehard fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Texas Longhorns, constantly dreaming of a Super Bowl victory. My weekends are dedicated to staying active through football, basketball, pickleball, and volleyball with my close friends. Sundays are reserved for my love of cooking, where I experiment with new online recipes to sharpen my skills. Whether I am competing in my annual fantasy football league, watching my favorite movie Interstellar, or playing NCAA CFB 26 and Rainbow Six Siege with friends, I value the community and family that surround me.
